We can arrange an independent AA vehicle appraisal on any car at 4Guys Autobarn, just ask our team about the vehicle you're considering. It's carried out by the AA, not by us, so you get a genuinely independent assessment before you commit to buying.
An AA pre-purchase inspection covers over 100 items, exterior and interior condition, the engine and driveline, cooling systems, brakes, suspension, steering, wheels and tyres, plus a test drive where it's legal and safe to do so. The whole inspection takes around 75 to 90 minutes, and you'll get a clear, emailed report the same day.
What It Costs
AA pre-purchase inspections are priced directly by the AA: $199 for AA members and $229 for non-members, with an $80 to $90 add-on if the vehicle has an EV or hybrid battery that needs checking. The report gives you an independent basis for your decision, and detail you can use if you want to discuss anything about the vehicle before you buy.
